| Niamh Helps SVP hit the high notes Niamh Kavanagh of Eurovision fame was one of the stars at the northern region's annual fund-raising dinner in the Belfast Europa hotel on Friday 19th November 2004. More than 200 guests from all over the region had a superb night in the company of Niamh and her band 'The Classics' and comedian 'Johnny Day' of Folks on the Hill. The event was sponsored by S&B Textiles of Ballymena and was supported by Translink, IPR Consultants, Jury's, Towers and Hilton Hotels. The event raised £13,500 for the Society. |
Among the corporate tables represented were First Trust Bank, Creagh Croncrete Ltd, Mackel & Doherty Architects and Tumelty Dawson & Co Solicitors. Thanks also goes to the numerous other business and legal firms who made donations to the fundraiser and to all those members of the public who bought ballots throughout Northern Ireland for the Grand Draw which was held on the night. |
