The Belfast Annual Street Collection was held in the City Centre on Saturday 4th December 2004.
More than 100 collectors turned out to give a few hours of their time to help raise funds for the Society in Belfast.
Our thanks goes to all those generous members of the public who contributed on the day and to our friends at the Belfast Central Mission who provided several collectors.

The event was also a special occasion for Kathleen Regan who has been a counter for almost 20 years. She has worked tirelessly behind the scenes since 1985 ensuring that every penny is counted and checked.
We thank her and her fellow counters for all their hard work in volunteering so many hours of their time each year.

The weekend also marked the launch of SVP Week (4-12 December) throughout Ireland with a major advertising campaign in many newspapers, television and radio stations. 50,000 copies of our Regional Annual Report were also distributed to parishioners at all Masses on Sunday 5th December 2004.
