How your donation is helping to equip girls with special needs and feed orphans in Ghana

Two members of the northern region's twinning group, Philip Killen and Seamus McMullan, have returned safely from their personal visit to Ghana where they made a courtesy call with the SVP in Tema.

Seamus and Philip were shown a proposed SVP site to accommodate a building for the aged in Tema. (We will keep you informed of progress as the development nears completion)

"Instead of cursing the darkness, we hope you will become inspired to twin, by this small candle of light"

£5,000 from Northern Ireland is being used to employ a development officer in Ghana. This officer is badly needed to travel to the various regions in Ghana to help co-ordinate their work.

A further £200 has been sent to help a school run by the Sacred Heart conference in Accra which caters for special need girls to teach them life skills and help them find employment.
