Launch of Annual Report

<<<previous : next>>>

Our volunteers visit needy people throughout Northern Ireland everyday of the year and offer them help and direct emergency assistance where possible.

As you can see from the list opposite over £2.23m of money you donated went on helping those most in need.

The greatest increase in need was in helping people with fuel bills such as oil and gas. Spending here increased from £348k in 2005 to over £420k last year. That's a rise of over 20%; and looks set to get worse as more and more price rises are announced.

(Statistics are a compilation of returns from all 185 branches in towns and cities throughout Northern Ireland during 2006)

Society spends over £2.23m of your money helping people in need throughout in Northern Ireland during 2006.
