The incorupt body of St Vincent de Paul

Fr Perry Gildea is a member of the "Vincentians" (Congregation of the Mission), based at 99 Cliftonville Road, Belfast 15.

We are men who have responded to a call to live out our motto which comes from the words of Jesus "the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, he has sent me to bring the good news to the poor." Today in Ireland , England and Scotland we serve in many different ways -  working with people who are disadvantaged and on the margins of society; working with Travellers, with people who are deaf or homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. 

We work in education, in schools and colleges offering opportunities for people from all walks of life to know more about their faith and how, with others, to bring their faith to life and their life to their faith. 

We minister in parishes, working together in communities to offer support and care to those who need it most.  We serve overseas in areas of great need and poverty to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.  We try to respond wherever we see need and that leads to us many works, many ways in which we all seek to share and discover the compassion of Jesus Christ in the footsteps of St. Vincent de Paul.
